Roxana Giles is a self-taught China painter. In particular she admires the English factory painters, and, at every opportunity, has attended their seminars.

As a teacher she held five classes a week, with up to 60 students. She has taught naval personnel and school teachers, who, in turn, have taken their knowledge back to the workplace. She has also held seminars in Finland, Holland, and monthly in Jersey.

Exhibitions of her work have been held in The World Maritime Building in London, and her work sold worldwide, including America, Canada, Russia, France, Holland, Germany and Japan.

For this demonstration she chose to paint a design using heleniums, a favourite flower which she grows in her garden.
